Yeah man I've already read the Book and that's not what I'm looking for. Bergman films etc deal with the silence of God, which is different. What I am trying to find is someone dealing with the isolation of the intellect, of the inability to find meaning in the company of others, in the oppressive loneliness of the intellect forced to fraternize only with itself.
It doesn't "deal with it" in a sunglasses.gif /lit/erary way, but Genius by Thomas Rayfiel captured what it feels like to be a semisperg disconnected for me.
Depending on how you take it, Sartre could be a way to sprinkle some existential dread in the picture too. Start with No Exit and go from there
