Has anyone read this?
I just started reading this and I had a few questions. I'd like to avoid spoilers if possible.
Does Azoth/Kylar stop being a whiny bitch?
And is it just me or does the book kind of just jump ahead and without explaining some shit? For example during the coliseum tournament all of the sudden Logan knows who Kylar is and is super passed at him. Like how the fuck did he figure that out? Did I miss something?
Other than that it's a dope book

Been a while since I read it but I think Kylar was wearing a mask right? Logan doesn't know about him being the asassin, he just sees a guy in a mask
It's been a couple of years since I read it but I have to say its a great trilogy. Kylar basically continues to be a whiny bitch, but in all honesty, can you really blame him? Shit basically just continues to get worse and worse for him until it all culminates in the entire series's climax. The amount of bs he puts up with can be seen as a counterbalance to his whining.

I guess that's fair. He does put up with a lot although he chooses this life since he had the alternative when Durzo was ready to take him in. So I can understand if something happens that isn't what Durzo gave him a heads up on (like him not getting over Doll face for example) and having to give shit up. It sucks but Nigga you picked this. But I can understand outside of it.
Nonetheless I love the book so far
it was decent. read it in a prison library where choices were shit. i wanted to read the sequels but couldn't find them. probably won't finish the series now though.

It runs a lot on "rule of cool" and magic and mystery is sort of pulled out of the story's ass at times, but I honestly really like the series. Kylar remains whiny but becomes less of a bitch.

>Yeah I know it sounds edgey but it's not
I seem to remember a scene where some king threatens to cut a guy's balls off, throw him in a pit of gay rapists so that's the last thing he feels as he bleeds out, and then make a coin purse out of his scrotum.
