I want to read a sci-fi book so obviously i started with Neuromancer but i ended up hating the jerky style of the book, it might be me but i really dislike it. Can you guys recommend me anything else that isn't Dune?

If you haven't read them Asiimov's original Foundation trilogy is hard to dislike.
They're short light reads too so you're not biting much off by starting them.

Jesus Christ I'm sorry, but that hurts to hear. Neuromancer is my all time favorite book, and I really think you should give it another shot.
