>>8529476
the prose fucking sucked stupid the cool ape guy was the one thing saving the story from going downhill, saging my own thread becasue i'm cancer sorry guys
>>8529431
I think it has to do with the fact that a typical person can't dispense a thematic analysis of a book on the spot. Especially if they haven't read the book in the last month.
It gets depressing after a while. Its the same thing with >oh you like them too? What's your favorite album?
>oh I don't really know albums.
Which I know I hear all the fucking time. Not sure if its wrong to expect more or what, but it sure brings me down after a while.
>>8529431
>What'd you like about it?
Yeah. Normies are pretty fucking stupid.
>>8529476
>tuh-the
You are so fucking dumb. Do no post again.

I don't rememember anything about concrete in Moby Dick.

>"Hmm, sounds interesting anon. I've never heard of it."
Seriously what a dumb cunt. I "accidentally" backed into her car when I left.
>>8529436
I don't know, but I would like to think I had a part in starting it.
>>8531012
I admit this is out of context and I don't really know anything about the situation, but desu, you seem to be the one acting like a dumb cunt.
>>8532340
its clearly a joke retard
>>8529431
Oh, man, I fucking hate it when this happens. I was talking to someone about politics and suggested that they read Democracy: The God That Failed because they seemed like they would enjoy Hoppe. I'm a libertarian socialist so I strongly disagree with Hoppe. Anyways, this girl who was kind of in our conversation too but not contributing much to it claimed that she had read the book. I asked her a couple questions about it and she was clearly lying. She also lied about listening to the band Loma Prieta and some other stuff that I forget. She was nice and all but man, it sure was frustrating to hear her lying constantly. I don't understand why she did that.
>>8529934
Wait, really? Idk, man. I can see the hate, but I can still love a band, and not really have a favorite album. I went through all of modest mouse's albums a couple years ago, and handpicked a few songs from each that I love and still listen today. Still, I tell myself I need to listen to albums at least 3 or 4 times before I put them to the side.
>What are you reading, Anon?
>Uh, Heretics of Dune...
>Wow, I loved Dune! That's an awesome book!
>Yeah? Should I keep reading through the series? Everyone is telling me no.
>Huh? There's more than one Dune?
It's not like anyone on this board can speak intelligently on this novel, either.
"Oh it's about man vs nature"
>>8533745
seriously should I keep reading the Dune series?
>>8530474
