Has anyone made a legible English version of Finnegans Wake yet? Where you just get the story using regular words?

If a Chinese translation is possible then an English translation should be possible.

The story behind that Chinese translation is fascinating.

You're... trying to read Finnegans Wake for plot?
Here, Burgess can help.

>You're... trying to read Finnegans Wake for plot?
What else is there to literature that isn't plot? I guess you could say "word choice," but that's like caring about the decorations on the syringe you're using to shoot up your medicine with.
>>8524196
If all you cared about was plot, there'd be no reason to read literature. The same basic plots appear over and over with minor variations in all writing. So style, information, details, emotion, word choice, etc., are superfluous to you? Plot alone is garbage. I don't read books to find out what happened in the last chapter: I could use Wiki or Sparknotes for that.
>>8524220
That's because you only read boring memelit. If you read superior genre fiction you will find awesome plot twists and fight scenes. A wiki summary will be almost as long as the original because the pacing is so much better.

>I could use Wiki
That is how I read most of the stories I read though.
this is advanced shitposting
