Is this book worth reading? I'm not very well read in Philosophy. I've only read a select few of Plato's dialogues, but I'm interested in the subject.

It's a bit dated but less dated than Plato or anybody else that preceded Russell. However I'd suggest either one of these over Russell:

Think: A Compelling Introduction to Philosophy by Blackburn
Spreading the Word: Groundings in the Philosophy of Language, also by Blackburn
