Does /lit/ know which books have translated to audio book format well? I am about to start an hour long commute and i want to make the time useful by listening to audio books. I assume some books translate better to spoken form than others and i need help finding out which ones.
Any suggestions?

I can't stand George RR Martin's writing style, but the audiobooks for ASOIAF made it bearable.

Keith Richards' autobiography read by Johnny Depp is hilarious and brilliant
As you wish read by cary elwes is fantastic if you're a fan
Donna Tart and Thomas Harris. Great genre fiction makes good audio-books.
