The first part (probably will be about one third of the finished product) of a poem. I have written much more than that, but have never kept anything longer than about three or four weeks after completing it.

This poem might actually be the first thing I decide to keep. I'm not sure how to succinctly and still acurrately describe it. Best I can say is it is about something like failing to be an active participant in life. Simply letting life happen to and around you. Observing and being, but not doing. And not "not doing" in a Taoist sense, which would be perfectly fine, but something much emptier and essentially devoid of life itself. There is more to it, and it will develop much more, but that is the foundational theme.

Without going into too much more detail, this is described through a few related metaphors that have been used many times in many different contexts, but, hopefully, with at least something of a fresh and more personal take. I know the basic idea I described above is nothing new, but again, it will develop much further than that.

My neice and nephew will have a sprawling series with characters named and modeled after them. They'd array in knowing uncle gaskun loved them very much.
First book is doing ok and the rest should snowball as it gains momentum. Book 2 out in less than 2 weeks

Some dozens of unedited drafts for the remaining parts of my on-going novel series. It's my worst nightmare that I die and then my family would make it some kind of a mission to get them all published. They're mostly just rushed ideas to remind me of what I'm going to do next and not to be used as they are. The result would be the cringiest clusterfuck ever created by human hands.
