I am feeling like a minority in my own country and feel detached from my own culture due to my western upbringing. However I also know that no other society of a foreign country will truly internalize me into it's culture and see me as a true citizen, and I am already facing racism in this new foreign country to certain degree so I am being torn apart. I feel alienated and forlorn.
Can you recommend me some literary works that focus on this conundrum?

I know that an immigrant's life is tough with cultural adaptation problems and open racism, but that s why I am seeking guidance.

eh it's 4chan so I feel as if I state these details they will draw away the attention from my question and give way to racism and the usual online shit talking.

I ve seen threads before asking about books on a specific kind of subject. I don't think there is anything going against the board's rules in this thread.

Is there an expat/immigrant community of your people within the country? You may find a new sense of belonging among them because they're dealing with similar issues in your new country. Though you may feel detached from your own culture within your country, it may change outside of it with those others who have left. The expat culture is a different version of your home culture anyway, and many people who felt the same kind of detachment as you are likely to be there. It's a unique unifying force because you're creating your own tradition.
It worked in my experience at least.
