Yep. Most authors are only worth reading for their best works. You only really dive into one if they either don't have many books, or you're really interested.

You're fine as long as you're reading. Most people bother with an author's bibliography only if they're really interested, and even then they might just read one or two of them. Also, stop posting froggy pictures.
It isn't a hindrance whatsoever. Nietzsche would maybe give you a respectful nod. This hysteria of reading a lot and a very diverse catalogue of different authors always includes this desire to appear knowledgeable. Atleast you immerse yourself deeply in the works of a single author. Why would this be bad?
Don't let outside pressure determine how to approach literature. If this satisfied you, then go ahead with it
I wish i could do this but i just get tired of a single author after a couple of books and have to leave em alone for a month or two.
