It's fun. Most of the style is visual surface deep, so dont expect a lucid life changing experience. it's mostly entertaining and creepy.

I have a feeling plebs flock to this book because it's like 600 pages long, even though half of them are nearly blank, and because they get to tell their pleb friends how it LITERALLY can't be read on a kindle.

The biggest problem with House of Leaves is that it doesn't live up to a second reading. It's exciting the first time because it's fresh, smart and a page turner, but when you come back to it, it's kinda a big nothing.

Get it through your library, read it, but as that other dude said, it's not worth 40 bucks.
