What music do you listen to while you read?

I usually don't, but when I do it's usually William Basinski or The Caretaker.

Pretty dope man
Still like Philip Glass or Nils Frahm. Particularly very long, almost ambient pieces that provide a background of noise without being distracting.

Rain sounds are good too. Especially if you leave this playing (muted) on fullscreen so there's something to aimlessly gaze at when you look up from the book

I can't concentrate and I'm too self conscious so I drown everything out with Ministry.

Only plebs who can't concentrate listen to music while reading.
I've found myself listening to a lot of Medtner and Faure recently, but really it depends on what kind of material I'm reading. For example, when I'm reading Wallace Stevens or Ezra Pound or some other immensely complex modernist, I need total silence. But if it's Shakespeare, I like to listen to some John Dowland lute music, which I think actually enhances my concentration. For prose, it can be anything I'm interested in at the moment. I find Medtner especially appropriate when reading Romantic poets, though of course they are not from the same time periods. The canonical Romantic composers like Liszt, Chopin, and Schubert, I find too distracting. They demand total attention. Medtner, Faure, and most other impressionists, are more agreeable in that sense, I find.
Not a thing, I like to devote my full attention to the book.
I actually get irritated if I don't have silence to concentrate.
Vaporwave or Opera music. usually nothing though
