Let's make up good titles or discuss ones we think are exceptional.
Questions:
What makes a good title?
What titles are only good because of the actual book itself?
What titles are the only redeeming quality of a book?
Why are titles so hard?

I like those titles that make no apparent sense before reading the book (sometimes not even after). Like, for example:
>Lookout Cartridge
>The Crying of Lot 49
>Nightwood
>Milkbottle H
>Finnegans Wake
>Ô dingos, ô châteaux ! (J-P Manchette)
Can you find more examples?

"Restore Königsberg you fucking Ruskies"
>>8451814
These titles are interesting, definitely, for their ambiguity. But is there something greater about titles which seem so perfectly worded and emotive just on their own, in a vacuum?

I know you guys don't like Murakami, but his titles are always really nice.
My opinion, but I love the titles that make sense as you read through it. I like the feeling of epiphanies, and the reflection that it invokes you to do.
