King James is cool. Most poetic. Also the first to give name to Lucifer after the Vulgate.

NRSV is my jam, endorsed by CS Lewis, and also the most scholarly translation.

The NT Greek manuscript basis for the KJV in particular is missing the past five centuries of discovery and criticism. This doesn't affect any teachings of the church in a major way or anything, but it allows for greater confidence in the accuracy of the NT text as it now stands (Nestle-Aland 28/UBS 4th ed).
