Is it cheating if I read siddhartha for my goodreads challenge?

No, because I choose very difficult books and I never complete them. I've completed 7 books this year, a couple of them were cake walks. I found The Stranger extremely easy, I didn't have much trouble with the metamorphosis as well. Neither did I with a few of the other books I read.

It's just a personal challenge. If it's fine for you add it. Add The Very Hungry Caterpillar for all it matters.

The goodreads challenge is something so flexible and personal that if you really have to ask then you are doing if more so to show off than to motivate yourself to read. Therefore, you should only read "difficult" or "meme" books so that you can show off on /lit/.
