hello fellow literature enthusiasts!
I am an aspiring writer and have begun on my first book. Its a Fantasy novel.
As of now I have the first 5 chapters published. But because it's a work in progress and my first work ever I would love to get some feedback on it by the real fans of literature.
So I knew I had to come to /lit/
Any criticism or pointers are much appreciated, I just want to know if I'm any good.
I have the book published on Booksie, here's the link;

Thanks in advance!
Have you ever posted on /lit/ before?
I'm skeptical of enthusiastic and over-familiar newfags demanding attention.

I dont demand attention. My post is for those interested in helping and only if they feel like it. If you dont want to help then that is completely fine by me.
do I get something?

This is the kind of stuff that usually gets posted here when people are intent on promoting their own shit, so I wouldn't blame them for reacting harshly to it.
Though...
>fantasy
That makes it even worse for you because most of this board hates genre fiction. I'm not even meming when I say you'd have better luck on reddit.

Ouch. I hope you're being ironic.
But you might also possibly get some good stuff, maybe. Just bear in mind that /lit/ may not be bothered, may give you bad advice, and also generally doesn't like fantasy.
Cover design and title are good- avoiding being awful and generic while still telling your target audience that it might still get orcs and elves and +5 longswords.

>First sentence is an overwrought cliche
Thanks, I'll pass

Ah, good, it sucks that people use 'fantasy' to exclusively mean D&D stuff.
