Wisdom in these areas is imparted by experts, it can't be learned from books alone. It is only having your writing scrutinised by academics, and your reasoning challenged by them that you can learn the crucial rules governing legitimate philosophical discourse.
The whole point of philosophy is that it is ambiguous which claims are logically sound, and which are not. It is just ridiculous optimism to imagine that there is some formula to be followed to identify which are true, or that through extensive reading alone you can somehow discover this. It is something you must be taught. Non-academic readers on these topics should give up

When thousands of rich philosophical works are currently in circulation, and yet only some of these are legitimated by the attention of the academic community, and within these books only some of their many claims are legitimated with scrutiny as real philosophical issues, it is just stupidity to imply that 'critical analysis' exists beyond them.

Because the only source of evaluation for philosophical work is the philosophical community. Clearly, the parts of writing and the authors are scrutinized is a subject of trends and fashion. A person can be imparted this knowledge but outside of academia they can never find it
