Why are books so fucking boring?
This isnt a joke topic, its just a fucking epidemic. Pomo lolsorandumb faggotry is trash. Moralising Russians are trash.
think back to 1850. There were close to zero outlets for creativity and intelligence other than literature. Now that has totally changed.
The most damning aspect of literature in general is that most readers are women. Nothing else could signal a total dearth of creativity.

>my book club is full of pussy
>suddenly have 30 new girls that hang around in my life and a couple of faggots
>most reunions we talk about lots of shit and almost zero books, which is fine by me
Dont see any problem with this
Your brain is boring. But you'll never realize that.

Everything stems from literature.

I remember taking savage detectives from a library and reading either the blurb or introduction on the bus home. His description of living a passionate life couldnt have been further from the dead library filled with bored normies or my own ugly nofriends self

That's Bolano, not Borges you legless nymphet

I agree. I've hated so many more novels than I've enjoyed. Pomo is always boring trash. Most classics are obsolete and quaint.
But the memory of the books I've loved keeps me searching. Just do everything you can to steer people towards the right books.
Here are some good, non-boring, non-plebeian novels:
Catch-22
Confederacy of Dunces
Stoner
Any of Dickens' well known novels
Flowers for Algernon
Of Mice and Men & Grapes of Wrath
The Old Man and the Sea

>Any of Dickens's well known novels
Are you trolling? Nicholas nickleby stopped me reading for over 3 months.
If a book is both American and criticised as entry level then i probably liked it.

I've never read that one. By well known, I meant Great Expectations, Oliver Twist, or A Tale of Two Cities
