Is print journalism a dying industry? Have we seen the last of truly "famous" writers/journalists? Seriously, nobody reads anymore. Blogging is gay as shit. What happened? Also is gonzo journalism still even a thing? Because I can only find objective pieces in magazines, which I know is typical, but why don't people see the power of a first person narrative? I know this is a ahit ton of stuff but I'm drunk and I want answers damn it!

Hahaha well that explains it, I keep away from that filth.
>What happened?
Pic related.
For real: reading became a meme.
That and yes I would say it is dying out. Look at gaming "journalism," for instance: not only is their medium falling out of popularity, their role has been obsoleted with most people turning to independent reviewers' video reviews on YT. I think that's part of the reason why we see them pandering to non-gamers so hard and always bitching about political nonsense. They are desperately trying to remain relevant, but with their previous job no longer in demand they're forced to portray themselves as "culture curators" now. It's bullshit.
