Anything by coupland worth reading? I'm from Vancouver so

Read Generation X a few years back. It's not "groundbreaking" like the LA Times claims it to be. It's not the worst thing to come out in the last 30 decades though. I'd say it's a very much in the middle of the road in terms of story and writing.

i mostly go to MacLeod's on pender ... Russell Books in Vic is about as good as it gets though. which one on commercial? Canterbury Tales or that communist one?

I've never read Coupland what other authors is he comparable to? I have in my head Generation X is like the Richard Linklater movie Slacker, how inaccurate am I?
