JG Ballard and Michel Houellebecq. Ballard writes about late-capitalism represses, and so unintentionally fosters, the desire for chaos and bloodshed. Houellebecq writes about general anomie, particularly sexual.
Try High Rise for the former, and The Elementary Particles (Atomised, if you're an Anglo) for the latter.
