If Rand were the same Rand born 1905 living today - yes

If she were theoretically born of a younger generation but of the same mind, probably not

I think it's an interesting question to pose....because I feel like a lot of capitalist are second handers......look at all the monopolies we have, hidden under the guise of free market...I think she'd be very upset.

We've moved closer to the People's State of America if anything. Industry lobbying is the national sport, subsidies are handed out like candy to the pull aristocracy, corn production mirrors the soy thing etc.

One true theme of the book, might actually be Nihilism....perhaps?
