I just found 1st edition prints of Dune, the hobbit, to kill a mockingbird, and the one that flew over the cuckoo's nest at my grandparents house.
All in good to great condition.
Have I hit a potential gold mine?

take them to a good antiquarian bookstore and ask them to appraise them for you.

Yeah man, why would he keep them for himself, when he can make enough money to order a family sized pizza?

I have bad news, anon.
they're probably book club editions
(worthless reprints of first editions, popular in the '70s and '80s)

None of those seem like they're old or rare enough to really net you all that much cash.

appraise =/= sell
I'm guessing anon is lying (unless his grandparents were collectors, how would they have firsts of both British and American books?) or doesn't understand how editions/print runs work but if not, they are all probably worth at least a few hundred.
