I wasn't planning to buy it anyway.
Just got a pdf.

It's a good book to read and try if you are new to spirituality.

But if he says anything that sounds too perfectly modern (like people before us were too... x and instead 60's political tripe y should replace it), you need to understand whatever the thinker thinks the prover proves.


I'd recommend Christianity and Meditation.

no book is a waste of time. your worldview should be so consistent and coherent that anything you consume adds to it

RAW is pretty based imo. But I'd suggest illuminatus!
