What do you guys think about the theory that in Blood Meridian, the Judge is a Djinn?

Had a retard moment, read as "dramaturge"
Then I realized I like that concept better.

Reading it at the moment. 80 pages over. Just some sissy boy came at town, throw money at the bar to arrange a hunting trip and failed to fuck a local whore. Now they are riding to Colorado. Will it get more interesting?

define what you mean by interesting?
are you looking for long winded descriptions of skirmishes between frontier folk and natives, railroad tycoons, etc.? if the answer to that question is yes, then you're more likely to enjoy an action adventure novel. And in that case, you might as well read warlock or stick to blood meridian.
BC is raw. it is not exciting in the way I think you'd find it to be. it is often dubbed moby dick Jr.
and imo, BC is interesting because you just don't know what is going to happen to Will or the other members of the expedition party.
J.E.W. makes you feel their vulnerability and crafts a type of suspense where the danger is looming-- you aren't quite sure how it's going to manifest.
