Looking for a good book on determinism.
Which philosophers cover it best? I think it's a pretty interesting concept and I also think we would be able to predict people's actions if we had enough data on them (genes, relationships, behaviors, psychology, etc).
Anyway, I wouldn't mind contemporary perspectives on the subject but I'd prefer something a little older/foundational.
The only book you ever need is The Bible.
