I'm writing a story about a man who dies, but even after his death the story continues to be from his perspective, and shows the funeral and his friends and families reactions to his death. After his death he stops being a character and becomes the 'narrator'
Am I Pomo yet?
Would anybody read this?
Should I kill myself?
Stealing your idea and publishing it.
Faggot.

Does that mean it's good then?

Yea it's a nice concept but your story should also have a good concept and your writing must be good in order to be a good short story or novel

Sounds neat, what time period is it set in?

It's a current setting. One of the sub-themes I'll be trying to explore is society's desensitization to death due to media saturation and all that. I'm still in the early stages so it might not come together that way in the end.
This has been done more than once already. I don't mind you doing it, but, stop pretending like it's new, different, or obscure by asking things like "would anybody read this"?
Go read The Afterlife of George Cartwright by John Steffler.

How long are you planning on having this be? It seems like there's lots of ways to go with this for a solid short story, but stretching it into the length of a novel would be tough, since it isn't really a difficult concept to get across.
