What does /lit/ think about Star Trek books? As a fan of the

They're pretty cool scifi. I remember liking the Corps of Engineers novellas.

The Blish books tend to be the cream of the crop. They're very pulpy though

Literally only read trek fanfiction

I read a Alan Dean Foster book, one of the Log: number ones. It was pretty good, it was basically three short stories that would've been too difficult or expensive to film as actual episodes. One of them was about Bones trying to figure out how to treat a disease in silicon-based aliens. good stuff.
