A really good interview with the guy behind the Complete Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_vWueM0h3A
This guy reads a book per day. Talks about Arno Schmidt, The Story of the Stone, underrated world literature, how he picks books, etc.
Also he looks like Count Olaf from A Series of Unfortunate Events.

this looks like 3D graphics
Netflix casting for a Series of Unfortunate Events is incredible.

Just fyi, a lot of /lit/'s charts draw pretty heavily on what he recs.

10 minutes in and I am already bored as fuck because this interviewer seems like an idiot.
It's just one guy? I thought it was a whole team. Awesome
>>8327581
Jesus fucking Christ. This interviewer.
>Make the case for fiction.
>All stories are the same
>I'm an economist.
>"the marginal value of fiction"
And it's not even 3 minutes in.
"really good". Fuck you OP. Yeah, I'm fucking triggered.
First video interview I could find of Orthofer. Sure the interviewer wasn't the greatest and some of the questions weren't the best but Orthofer is a fascinating individual and his site has helped me find so many books that I count among my absolute favorites. I enjoyed it, thanks OP.

Just visited Orthofer's website, fuck this guy, he seems like a huge cuckold. I say that in the memest sense possible.

>Orthofer
/lit/ scaruffy?
>I've bought a hundred books because of you.
Who wants to bet he hasn't even read them? Him saying "bought" instead of "read" provides suspicion.
He thinks people should watch more television over travel or reading. You can tell he thinks highly of himself and lacks empathy. Second rate interviewer.
