You need more rigorous criteria.

To my knowledge, the Better than Food guy has never reviewed a young adult novel, he is male, and he "reads" challenging books.

But he is not worth watching for even a second.

If you really must watch someone's youtube videos about books, I don't understand this desire, then you should find someone that fits the following criteria:

1. Attractive (to you).
2. Pleasing voice.
3. Some other quality you like to watch

To my knowledge, there is no one on YouTube reviewing books in a worthwhile fashion.

In my opinion BTF doesn't say anything too interesting about the books he reviews and his mannerisms annoy me. It may be an act, but he comes off as kind of a snob or someone I wouldn't be able to a conversation with. He does not motivate me to read so not knowing you, I have to guess he may not motivate you to read either.

I really only enjoy watching the videos of people who seem like someone I'd want to talk to or who can teach me something.

You should probably watch a BTF review of a book you have read and are familiar with to figure out whether he will motivate you to read more or not.

However, I'm don't believe watching book reviews on Youtube is the best way to motivate yourself to read.

Maybe you need to examine yourself and decide why you don't want to read yet still feel that you should. Maybe you need to think about books that you have liked and find books that share general characteristics with them. I don't know.
