okay guys, I want to become a writer, but I'm aware I suck, even though I had gotten a 6/10 when I show a page in my taco literarian speech here.
Since I'm a newbie and I'm watching a youtube series about african (black) history, I want to write a 150-200 pages about Sundiata, the african hero of the Mali kingdom.
Luckyli I found on google no novel or story written about him beyond a 1960 pdf that is his tale written, but is like 28 pages.
I'm sure it has some commercial appealing and I've read books about storytelling like Robert Mckee the story and Lajos Egri dramatic writing.
I'm sure I could write some good plot.
But I'm scared as fuck.
I even got some .rar pack of creative manuals in spanish.
I just want some advice plx.
What if I follow mckee advice on how to write the plot but try to write prose as if it was poethry with heavy use of figures of speech on every sentence mixing two or three at the same phrase.
How bout learning about grammar?
Any other good advice?
