Am I stupid when I don't understand judge Holden's monologues?
I just read it and was pretty confused by a lot of the things he said.
I think they are supposed to be ambiguous though.
They seem to imply he is actually a supernatural being at some points unless I am misreading completely.
What monologue?
Post it and we'll tell you if you're stupid.

Yes because you're dumb enough to think there's anything to understand in bloodmeme.

read it first.

Read an academic write up on it.
Holden's monologues fluctuate between facts taken at face value and deeper, more symbolic rhetoric as well as allusions.
I dont remember much off the top of my head, but the War speech is what it is. One thing that I think went over my hea d is when he was talking about the orbits of things only being as long as they're leash- planets, men, money. I don't think I was fully picking up what he was putting down

Not amerifag and reading translation, so I can't copy the one I mainly want to understand. It's the very last where he talks about false dancers and how people that don't have a reason to be somewhere might be there out of will of some other being.

Yeah this speech and the magic trick also stuck in my head. Reading some academic might be a hreat idea thanks, things I read at schmoop and sites like that weren't much helpful.
also almost wherever the judge was a little girl disappeared or was found dead. Was judge behind this? I don't recall someone calling him out on that topic (would end dead if he did I bet) but there was the moment where he killed the little boy at the fort or something. Did he kill them? The disapperences were only subtly mentioned every time.
