Hey /lit/
what's the best way to write impressions about something I read? I'm not going for a professional review or anything, just something I can share with others. I honestly don't know about what to mention in that kind of thing... like maybe a check list kind of thing?
I'm asking because when asked about what I think about something I've read I usually don't really know how to answer besides the very basic "I liked it" and whatnot, and I kind of want to record my thoughts of a work to revisit it in the future since my memory is pretty bad.
Any advice?

List every aspect that you could possibly talk about.
Now, go though the list and ask your self for each point
"Is this really necessary?" if not use the 'fuck it' technique and cross it off.
Do this until you know what you HAVE to write about for the review.
