Any tips on transitioning from poetry to prose? I want to write

Two different beasts.

poetry is mainly rhythm

prose, if you're talking about novels, etc, is mostly characters.

so, you change your focus from rhythms to focusing on characters.

Work on your blocking dude. The timing of scenes, how to set them up, when to creep the story foward, how long to stay on a character.
