You can get a lightly used 6 vol in 3 hardback+slipcase Heritage Press set of Gibbon for less than the corresponding 3 paperback volumes from Penguin bought new. Got mine for $18 total, but they go on ebay/amazon/abebooks pretty regularly for $25-30.
