Automation happens, suddenly everyone NEEDS to get a degree because there's no more fucking job for the plebs. But not everyone is smart/autistic enough to get into STEM so what is left? Nothing except getting a useless degree and then still do nothing. Even the people that do end up actively researching in their field have to pull out the most ridiculous shit to "investigate" from their asses because they have to shit out papers to get dat state funding. The humanities just need a good purging. Shut down the departments for four years and go to town. Hunt down the SJW profs, force them to recant, and take away their credentials. Start up the schools again with smaller humanities departments with depoliticized curricula and loyal profs and watch humanity enter a new golden age.
