Did you check the catalog first?

I think Augustus was his greatest novel. It's the only novel I ever cried during.
>>
It's an ok novel, not outstanding
>>
There are also a lot of fascist themes in the book. For example, Williams emphasises slimness as beautiful; Edith, Grace and Driscoll all fall into this. Lomax is symbolic for the resentfulness felt by cripples and the infirm and is thus covertly presented as an argument for eugenics. Williams casually talks of 'negro hands' like they are not even human.

When I think of more I'll say.

Somewhere between ok and outstanding for me. I wouldn't put it in my top 10.
/lit/ hyped it up a lot, and I knew exactly what I was getting myself into, exactly what the book would be like.
Still, I liked it. It was well-written and enjoyable.

Wow. How about you read up on fascism.

I don't think "fascist" is a term that can be used to describe your sensitivity to microaggressions.

Yes, Augustus is awesome.

>Williams emphasises slimness as beautiful

So not liking fat chicks makes you a Nazi now? Great.

I don't consider 'fascist' a pejorative.

Derogatory or not, t's a political term and your trying to apply it to something as domestic as a woman's weight and a man's opinion on another man's race.
