Hey guys just got here from /pol/
I really want to read more because I feel like it will make me more well read, but then whenever I sit down and try to read, I find I'd rather be shitposting on the internet.
Any advice?
I'm supposed to be reading Gravity's Rainbow atm.

You dun goofed by starting with Gravity's Rainbow. Start with an easy genre fiction read if you haven't formed a reading habit yet. Then work up your way from there towards more 'difficult' books.
Also, why did you need to mention that you are from /pol/?

I'd have at least expected that the /pol/ types introduce themselves with name, rank and serial humber.

I figured it would get more replies.
I also have a copy of Dubliners and of Blood Meridian. Do you think I should start with one of those instead?

tbqh if you really want to educate yourself and stay on task I think the best thing to do is to follow reading lists rather than simply picking out books at random. /lit/ has made plenty of different reading lists covering different areas.
