One part of this book doesn't make any sense to me. Deckard travels to the Rosen Association in order to test the validity of the Voigt-Kampff test. He's greeted by Elder Rosen who tells him to test Rachael, his supposed niece. My understanding is that the intention was to lie to Deckard about Rachael not being an Android, with the idea being that if the Voigt-Kampff test failed to tell a human apart from an android, this meant that the police had not recourse for shutting down production of the Nexus-6 units. Everything so far makes sense. The part that doesn't make any sense is why the fuck after successfully convincing Deckard that Rachael is human do they then try to bribe him into lying to the police about the test working fine? I thought the intention was to convince the police that the test didn't work so that they wouldn't have a reason to shut down production of the Nexus 6. The Rosen Association's intentions make absolutely no sense.

It doesn't make sense to you because you're an idiot. Read it again after you go back to pre-school.

Not an argument.
