I just finished reading this, and while it was fairly enjoyable itself, it mostly has just given me a craving to read more about what it discusses, the Confucian, the Taoist, and the Zen Buddhist. What is some essential reading for these subjects? I've already ordered Tao Te Ching, but I can't seem to find anything quite as championed as that for Zen Buddhist literature.

I read the penguin classics edition by D.C Lau, it had a good introduction, I can't say if it's faithful to the real text but I thought it was a good read.
