I'm enjoying it a lot. Although his descriptions might seem prosaic, they are actually ver musical and vivid. The theme of pantheism that springs from the self is beautifully managed too. I'm 256 lines in, but I can see now it's poetic dimensions and achievements.

I don't know yet, I'm 25% through

So far it seems decent pop book for an introduction into the prevalent lines of thought on what directions the global world is going to develop towards. It doesn't seem particularly profound or in-depth, but mentions nice statistical and historical anecdotes to outline what changes have happened and will probably happen.

To get a more expansive view on things you'd need to check literature focusing on the issues of specific regions and their interactions with one another but that would take about a dozen books to go through.
