I work 30~ hours a week, I'm in 10 hours of garbage fucking coursework I don't care about at all a week, which entails another 5-10 hours of homework basically, and I'm on my awful commute 12+ hours per week, all while trying to write a fucking Master's thesis.

I don't find time. I hate my life.

How do you deal with the moral dilemma of knowing that any kind of work you do for someone is inherently exploitative, and that you need money to survive?

That is really an argument to quality, not quantity. Mcdonalds restaurants,The most readily available food on the market, has menu items in the upwards of 700 calories. Adding fries and a drink and most people have nearly exceeded their caloric intake in a single meal, while failing to meet most of the requisites for protein, calcium, dietary fiber, iron, or vitamins A, C, or D, which I would hardly call "life sustaining". That, coupled with internet lifestyles and little exercise is a very possible cause for national obesity.
If there was national interest (U. States) in eating healthier foods from a market shelf rather than a drive-thru line, even if the same amount of food were consumed, I'm absolutely positive there would be no weight epidemic.

I'm not working right now but when i was the subway ride and my lunch break if I got one were productive reading periods. Otherwise there's still lots of time in the day. If you're working even a 10 hour shift with 2 hours of commute, sleeping 8 hours, when you factor in chores and cooking and such you've still got at least 2 hours in there unless you have a lot of other stuff to do.
