You don't even need a book. There are a million websites offering guidance on meditation. It's not magic, it's not complicated, if you want to find it go search.

Transcendental meditation is just a monetized spin on classical meditation systems. Look up vipassana and samatha meditation (insight and concentration, respectively). These are traditional systems of meditations (most derivative forms use a combination of both in varying amounts). There are plenty of free resources on these. Bhante Henepola Gunaratana in the teacher I usually recommend.
I'm in a good mood
Go watch thisdocumentary on david lynch's transcendental meditation cult

Come on man, I just want to drive a car I don't need to know what a spark plug does

>I want to develop spiritually/gain the benefits of meditation/make myself happier
>I don't want to learn anything
Pick one. It's really that simple. If you want quick, superficial results then do breathing exercises, or go to your gym's yoga classes.

All I want to know is how to do transcendental meditation like Jerry Seinfeld does. I can't find anything online, or it makes you pay
