Has anyone here read The Alchemist? I know it is a popular book

no but i did take organic chemistry 1 and 2 in college in addition to doing a lot of alchemy back when i played morrowind. i'd recommend it.

I think it's a great way to help someone get into lit that's more deep and interesting, but it's kind of unnecessary for /lit/ since everyone here's already into more complex literature.
