Any books you would recommend for someone who has competed reading Catch 22, doesn't have to be war oriented.

All Quiet on the Western Front.

Don't get your hopes up anon.
>>10016037
honestly if you enjoyed the structure of the book Infinite Jest (no meme)
it has the same deal where a bunch of seemingly disconnected vignettes that jump between time and perspective start to converge
2nding Illuminatus! Trilogy. Get the book on tape for the first book, too, it's /comfy/ as fuck and the performances are great.
The Cyring of Lot 49 might also interest you if you haven't read any Pinecone before

Can confirm the crying of lot 49 is fuckinng excellent
>>10016129
I personally wouldn't, leave your memory of the characters the way it is
I've never read The Good Soldier Svejk, but I've heard it's very good. Joseph Heller even said he wouldn't have wrote Catch-22 if he hadn't read The Good Soldier Svejk,

Is it bad or just not as good as the 1st book?
>>10017040
I'm not that guy but that book was pretty fucking shit.
Also, to OhPee, you should try Something Happened by the same author, in my opinion it's even better.
>>10017040
not that anon but it's meant to be pretty bad dude
>>10016037
If you loked the 1st halfore then try some short fun reads like Portnoy's complaint and a confederacy of dunces
If you liked the 2nd half more try the desert of tartars and pedro paramo
>>10016037
have you read The World According to Garp, anon?
A Confederacy of Dunces for tragicomedy.
Slaughterhouse-Five is pretty gud
Anyone here read something happened by heller
