I don't think anyone should have their sexual history held against them, nor do I believe sex workers deserve anything other than respect, but I personally believe that people should ideally date people who hold the importance of sex in similar regards. I couldn't see myself with a sex worker or someone with a high body count for the same reason I couldn't see myself with a chaste virgin who refuses sex except purely for reproduction. I've rejected people and been rejected for being too promiscuous, and imo people's preferences shouldn't be held against them as long as they don't impose their opinions on others.

No. Watching porn is one thing. Doing porn is entirely another, and it changes people in ways other shit simply doesn't.

Someone becomes a fucking movie star or a rock god or a Youtube celebrity, and the fame can get to their head. Same thing happens with pornstars, only they didn't just smile for the camera, they were getting loads blown on their face, in their ass, or up their cunt. Not only this, but the essence of the pornstar's livelihood is taking money from people for sexual acts. Buying your favorite band's music is one thing. Tipping your pornstar's camshow so they will shout your name during the climax is another.

And the entire concept aside of being bathed in the biological material of dozens, if not hundreds of different men and women - the kind of "fans" pornstars gather are some of the worst kind of scum. If you thought chasers were bad, porn "fans" are far worse. These are the same cucks who will dump their paycheck on a camshow or just "donate" their favorite star free money for fucking nothing.

Porn is damaging to the mind of the people who watch it. But it damages the soul of the people who participate. They can walk and talk like normal people, but inside they're dead or permanently fucked up in ways you can't imagine. I've known more of them than I ever wanted to, and I want nothing to do with people who do porn ever again.

And that's all they are, and all many of them ever were - just born into a convenient time and place in the world to be whores and get paid for it without being flat out prostitutes. Some reject it after a while and try to lead "normal" lives, but spend long enough in porn and sex becomes just as meaningless as if you never had it in the first place. Worse for the pornstar than the celibate: at least the celibate don't have a lifetime of painful memories of all those times they degraded themselves on camera for nothing more than the money or attention.

Notice I didn't say, "fun" because no one's doing this shit for fun. Normal people play games or do hobbies or sports for fun. People who are warped think "fun" is performing a sex act in front of as many people as possible and getting paid to do it. Look up any of the interviews with ex-pornstars or some who are still in the business - so very few are happy with their lives, happy with their choices. Yeah maybe a couple have found their zen, but the overwhelming majority are discontent at best, suicidally depressed at worse.

And the fans. They don't go away when the career is over. I'd say the "normal" ones do, but how many normal, well-adjusted individuals are befriending or hanging out with pornstars on the regular and not treating them like a gross novelty? No, the people reaching out to porn stars are a special kind of people who think they can know someone like that or get close to someone egotistical or narcissistic enough to even become a pornstar. Go figure why so many sex workers in general end up on the receiving end of stalkings, batteries, kidnappings, and the whole host of violence both domestic and criminal: it's always some deranged "fan."

Long story and I regret every part of it. If I couldn't undo the entire thing, I'd be better to just forget any of it ever happened. Didn't come away with any scars, but got plenty of bad memories. People make poor decisions in life and I made some, so learn from my mistakes so you don't have to make the same ones.
