Well I'm no maths expert so I did not feel confident treating it like a limit because I've never seen that done before. As far as my mind sees it if there's an imaginary part, no matter how small it's out of the real plane. The program just gave a real answer the first time I did it, I'm convinced it was a glitch. But I'm not an expert maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think I was stupid to ask especially when I am planning to buy expensive parts based on the result.
