Yeah, I've wondered that myself. At my best (and most regularly shaved) I pretty much never used it, and by the time I started using it I had things in check. I think it may actually be good for a close shave on the face, where flaws can be much more apparent... but for the rest of your body, there are lots of more effective things. That said, I think it's worked on my chest when I didn't have anything else. But I also (possibly for environmental reasons - ie this house is like some kind of weird drafty hub of parasites) have fucked up skin that reacts almost as much to just existing as it does to shaving.

Also, most aftershaves contain alcohol, which kills bacteria but also can dry you out and cause skin damage, so being too liberal with it is probably a bad idea in general.

Actually, I think beforeshave may be more important to me, now - I neglected to mention salicylic acid, which besides treating acne is also really good at thinning/softening facial hair so it looks lighter and comes out easier.

Funny thing is I've had a lot of success using it on my legs... not so much on my face. All it did was get rid of 1/3 of my beard hair while turning another 1/3 of it an almost translucent blonde. My beard hair was like less than a centimeter long at the time too.
Facial hair tends to be thicker and coarser than body hair so it should work better on your body hair.

I used Nair twice before I used Magic and the second time kinda burned me on all the ingrown hairs I had, but they healed completely after a while.

As a precaution before using a depilatory you should always do a 24 hour patch test to see how you would react. But if you already used it on your face without issue then you should be fine.
I think it's worth it, just don't keep it on for more than 10 minutes. I think I've kept it on longer (while I had some ingrown hairs) and still haven't gotten burned, while fucking Nair burned me despite not going over the recommended time.

This is still better than shaving not only because you can get hair in hard-to-reach areas, but also because the hair will be dissolved at the root, which is better than the closest shave you can get. When you shave the hair is sliced into a sharp point (gives that 5 o'clock shadow feel), which can pierce your skin and become ingrown. When it's pulled at the root, the hair grows back finer, which means you'll be smoother for longer and you're less likely to have ingrown hairs.
I still get some ingrown hairs, but I've only used Magic twice as well (and I wore slim jeans in the summer). I think you become less prone to ingrown hairs the more you use it as well, because the hair will just get finer.

America is the size of Europe, so it's hardly easier. The closest friend I have here is almost 2000 km away, and that's just over a few states. Some people are almost 5000 km away from each other. two things to keep in mind is that (1) it takes a while to actually do its job, roughly 6 months to start seeing results, and (2) make absolutely sure that it won't do more harm than good (while it can help repair skin, it can also damage skin that doesn't need repairing in the first place)

I meant mostly like causing premature aging, I only ever smoked about five cigs a day. Have some laugh lines (or whatever you call those lines from nose around mouth, only shows up when I smile so I try not to do that) and fine lines around my eyes that make me avoid mirrors and this forehead issue but that's about it.

heya femgen, quick question. I've got rather wide shoulders and I'm honestly not to worried about them, but what can I do to make the rest of my body somewhat proportional to them? I'm already gyming and working on my legs and arse, but is there something that I can do at the gym or diet wise that will give me a more feminine set of curves?

I also suffer from broad shoulder syndrome, all you can really do is try for leg and ass workouts and dress in ways that minimize it. If you're fem enough, it doesn't really matter, despite le epin shitposter >>8850129

not a whole lot, unfortunately, but putting some fat and muscle on your hips can help give you a more hourglass figure, if that's what you're going for

try to get a balanced workout, but focus more on legs (that includes hips and core) to get better results
cycling is a good cardio + leg workout, if you're willing and able
try to do leg workouts that exercise all of your leg muscle groups (a lot of people forget the hamstrings)
diet is really important to look into but that's another can of worms entirely
i'd recommend playing around with all these workout parameters until you find something that works for you personally, though that will likely take some time
and fashion can be a great help like the other anon said
