Is there some sort of correlation between sexual orientation and fetishism?
Obviously, anyone from any orientation can have any kind of fetish, but there's usually a concentration of specific orientations that like said fetishes.
Like, the furry community is disproportionately filled with gay men. Straights seem to like stuff like feet (particuarly straight men) and diapers/weird baby stuff. BDSM is commonly associated with Leather Daddies and so on.
Is there some kind of link between this? I know fetishes are typically developed in prepubescence, is that around the time most people get an idea on their orientation?
