Being treated like shit most of your life, both by yourself and others tends to fuck you up mentally and emotionally. Some people put up a layer of bitchiness to cope and shit. Like yeah, its immature, but they are basically going through puberty with 5 times the baggage that most bratty teenagers have without the same societal support, and while they are intellectually older, trauma and depression can stunt emotional growth in a lot of ways.

Honestly its not really a socialization thing, but it is a developmental thing, it just relies on different factors than that.

But yeah, having a name like that for most of my life is fucking terrible.
